Family Owned and Operated
As a family owned and operated company, we’re proud to be active in the community that has grown with us. All of our locations have donated time and/or money to charitable causes. From offering free child car seat inspections, to educating drivers of the dangers of texting while driving, we’re always looking for ways to give back to the community. Check out some of the ways Great Plains Auto Body is involved in the community below.
EVENTS

Infant and Child Safety

Kids Can Toy Drive

Safe Kids Douglas County
We partner with Children's Hospital to offer free car seat inspections. This insures the littlest of riders are safe and secure at all times while traveling in an automobile. And, as always, buckle up!
Each holiday season our employees choose a charity and donate needed items. In 2014, we collected toys for Kids Can. Kids Can focuses on building self-esteem, confidence and life skills in children, and provides a safe and happy environment where they can learn.
As a board member of Safe Kids, we partner with community leaders like the Omaha Fire Department, Keep Kids Alive Drive 25 and the National Safety Council to help promote safe events for kids.

Bowl for Kids' Sake is a fundraising effort we participate in for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. We bowl as a team, and raise money in an effort to make an impact in the lives of kids in our community.
The YMCA is a vital part of our community. We support a program focused on your wellness, family and helping others. Strengthening the community is a cause we can get behind.
We enjoy the great American pastime. We fully support a Little League baseball team, and provide them with uniforms and baseball gear. Go get 'em, team!
GREEN
At Great Plains Auto Body, we’ve made a commitment to our customers and ourselves to become more eco-friendly. We started with switching our painting systems over to PPG’s new Envirobase painting products which helps reduce the use of hazardous chemicals involved in the repair process. Our painting booth floor filters are changed regularly to capture overspray and avoid releasing painting elements into the air. Scrap metal is recycled 100% of the time and we dispose of tires and batteries properly. Recycled auto body parts are used when customers, insurance companies and the situation allows us to do so. We have installed new lighting in our repair facilities which improve the working conditions and saves energy. Being eco-friendly for our employees and our neighbors is one of our biggest priorities.
